with automobiles, homes are one of the highest consumers of
energy resources. Considering this, Champion designs
each of our manufactured and modular homes to conserve energy while
providing you year-round comfort.
Our
manufactured homes are engineered to meet specific climate zone
requirements identified by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban
Development. Our modular homes are designed to meet or exceed
specific provisions for thermal performance as established by the
International Energy Conservation Code. Every Champion home
design is computer tested to ensure it meets or exceeds efficiency
codes before being built.
Champion offers a number of optional
enhancements to further increase home energy efficiency such as
Energy StarŪ rated appliances and in some regions, Energy StarŪ
certified homes. Because climate conditions vary,
consult with your local independent Champion retailer or builder to
determine the additional energy saving choices that will work best
for your new Champion home.
